Project

Inovo means ‘innovation’ and everything about Glasgow’s latest development fulfils this promise. Inovo has been created to house and encourage collaboration between companies involved in the renewable industry, in a sustainable BREEAM Excellent rated office environment. Inovo is located in the heart of the vibrant Merchant City Area of Glasgow.

The building is designed to encourage partnership between companies within the industry and it is envisaged that the communal areas, business lounge and meeting rooms will act as a hub for information sharing and collaboration. Inovo completed in September 2013 and is the first office building in Glasgow to achieve an ‘A’ Energy Performance Certificate and an Excellent BREEAM rating.

Flexiform Business Furniture Ltd was involved in supplying the furniture and BDP Architects were the designers on the project.

Products specified include hm58 chairs designed by Matthias Demacker, hm86 low and high back chairs designed by Simon Pengelly, all upholstered in Camira Blazer, and an hm46 corner sofa upholstered in Crest Vele hide.
