American Express is the largest private employer within Brighton, having been there since the 1970’s. In 2008 plans were announced for a new headquarters to accommodate a growing company and its current demands, creating an exciting and vibrant environment for their staff to work. Architecture firm EPR were awarded the design contract and a number of Hitch Mylius designs were specified throughout the building; including hm63 by Nigel Coates, hm67 chair and the hm85 designed by Simon Pengelly.
