Fred Scott (1942-2001) was one of Britain’s most renowned furniture designers of his period. As a tribute to Scott, and expanding on the success of his hm25 seating, Hitch Mylius has developed hm26, a family of generously proportioned sofas providing a more relaxed and informal version of Scott’s classic.
Armchair and sofas are available in a wide variety of fabrics and leathers. Internal frames are of FSC-accredited solid beech and panel construction with elastic webbed seats upholstered in graded cmhr foams; seat and back cushions are polyester-wrapped cmhr foam. Under frames are fine-brushed stainless steel. A low table complements the seating – standard table tops are of toughened acid-etched glass, oak or walnut veneer or white laminate; other veneers and laminate colours, Arabescato marble or black slate may be specified at extra cost.
